Questions about the foundation shade finder
How do I test a foundation shade?
Swipe a little along your jawline and check it in daylight. The right shade disappears into your skin and matches your neck.
Why is my shade different from brand to brand?
Brands name and number their shades differently. Your shade group tells you which part of any range to look at, not a single product number.
What if I am between two depths?
Pick the answer that is closest most of the year. If you tan a lot in summer, it is common to use a deeper shade then.
Is this a professional shade match?
No. It is a short self-assessment that points you in a direction. It is not a diagnosis or professional advice.
